Flight Plan Drone Academy (also presented as FlightPlan Drone Academy) provides Part 107 Flight Plan, an independent, U.S.-based, online self-paced knowledge-test preparation course. This policy explains how we handle personal information.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including your name, email address, account credentials, support messages, and refund requests. We also collect course activity such as enrollment, progress, completion, quiz or practice results, time spent, certificates, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive transaction details such as payment status, amount, and Stripe checkout or transaction identifiers, but we do not store full payment-card numbers. Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy terms.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; process payments and refunds; provide, save, and restore course access and progress; issue completion certificates; answer support requests; prevent fraud and misuse; comply with law; and improve the course and service.

Sharing

We share information only as reasonably needed with service providers that host the app, manage authentication and data, process payments, provide communications or support, and help us secure or maintain the service. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and financial records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of applicable personal information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. You can also request account assistance or ask privacy questions by email.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

U.S. service and changes

The service is operated in the United States. We may update this policy and will post the revised effective date here. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies.
